Auteur Watch - James Bond III

Another child actor made good!  Something like that.  I mean, he's got a flair for titles, anyway.  "The Red Hand Gang."  The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh.  Apparently, not a Disney picture!  Sounds a bit like The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.  And of course, who can forget Def By Temptation, a title that even Lloyd Kaufman himself can love!  But dude!  Was he, like, 20 when he wrote and directed that?  Must've been a bit of a success, because he quit the biz completely afterwards, and spent the next year doing something called... "raising a family."  Oh, puh-leeze.  Normal people do that.  You're a quadruple threat!  Writer, director, actor, songwriter... caterer on the weekends, what have you.  But things are looking up!  Apparently, directing the one pic was enough, so it's back to acting.  And rumor has it he's going to be playing Jamal's father in something called Transit.  Don't be afraid of fatherhood!  Watch Gone With the Wind again, and study how Clark Gable did it.  It can have its moments!
