Well, when it comes to showbiz, this James Brown seems to prefer producing. Of course, these days, one has to wear many hats in showbiz. Or just have a lot of assistants: one to answer email, one to handle Twitter, what have you. But every once in a while, duty calls. And while producing a show called "White Collar Poet," apparently one of the directors called in sick. Well, what do you do when that happens? Where I work, management scrambles to find a replacement. When that fails... and it usually does... everyone else pitches in to pick up the slack. Well, that's probably what James Brown did for an episode called "The Couch." That's "White Collar Poet"! After his wife leaves him for a starving artist, high-flying insurance broker Richard Scribe... an insurance man named Scribe? That's like if a writer was named Fred Deductible! Also, that sounds more like a girlfriend move to me, but whatever. I'm certainly no expert on the institution of marriage. Also, making jokes about the White Collar set is an American phenomenon, damn it. Stay out of it, Canada! Do you even HAVE white collars up there?!!!
