Autuer Watch - Jacqueline Brewster-Farquhar

Field Director!  That's not nothing!  I just don't want to leave any auteur behind here.  And this J. B-F (for short) is going places.  And check this out!  A little bonus!  Extra IMDb number 1, extra IMDb number 2.  Yup, she's definitely going places... at least, until about 2016, where the trail runs cold.  But not to worry!  She's got a profile on LinkedIn, and ... wow.  What, no MySpace account?  No AOL email address?  Why not have a Linux laptop while you're at it?  Whelp, take some time to get your groove back, grrl.  I mean, even Steven Spielberg took some time off from directing... sure, to start his own movie studio with a couple other guys, but STILL.  That's time he'd have to answer for if he went in for a job interview someplace.  Thankfully, the field of documentary filmmaking is a little more forgiving... or so I hear.  Of course, it can be tough if you're trying to make a name for yourself like Michael Moore or Morgan Spurlock or... whoever else.  Remember, it's all about the work.  Take the last series that Jacqueline worked on, for example.  It's called "The Mind of a Murderer."  Oh, that's original.  Let me help you out on that one: sociopathic or psychopathic, usually low I.Q., finds themselves in a situation they think a murder or two can solve.  Remember that interview Dick Cavett did with Jeffrey MacDonald?  Murderers do not have an influential role in American society!  Maybe indirectly, but not directly... okay, at the top of the political ladder, but that's usually murder on a large scale, not person-to-person.  And then, you've got the CSI effect: all these crime shows are making the criminals more savvy in their craft.

Of course, you don't want to spend too much time trying to plumb the depths of the mind of a murderer, lest you get lost in the forest like Jacqueline Brewster-Farquhar over here.  Hope she left a note with a close friend, letting them know where she was going last!  I mean, even Stanley Kubrick knew that you can't scare the audience too much.  I mean, take this image on the web, for example.  It's an ad for "The Mind of a Murderer" on the ID channel... but it puts me in the mind of a Romantic, what can I tell ya.  Good night, everybody!  You've been great!
