Auteur Watch - James Claridge

Our NEXT auteur is James Claridge, and... nope, just a "Thanks" credit.  Wow!  Very small résumé!

Okay, on to the next.  James Collingridge... nope, just an actor, known for Downhill Willie.  Let me tell you something, IMDb... NO ONE is known for Downhill Willie!!!  Except maybe that April Telek... click click.  Damn, I can't do emojis with this thing.  Ah, she's probably no fun anymore.  Okay, on to the next, and it's James Corbridge... dang!  Another one with a single "Thanks" credit!  Didn't want to ride the Fame Train with the South Park boys!  Well, that particular train is a pretty small one.  Guess they need another "Book of Mormon" type project to get back into the spotlight, huh?  Okay, on to the next, and it's someone named James Daley-Eldridge, and... wow.  Just completely empty.  Makes the others look like overachievers, Frank Lee.

Okay, on to the next.  Someone named James Dandridge, and... nope, just something called a Sound Maintenance Engineer.  Well, hey, someone's gotta keep the microphone away from all those maniacs who keep dropping spoons all over the place, am I right?  I guess the highlight of his short career was probably Tim Burton's 2007 effort, Sweeney Todd.  Well, he and Colleen Atwood.  She and Rick Baker have all the Oscars (TM) (R) (C), don't they?  Rick and Robert Richardson have the same hair!  How about that?  Okay, maybe that's going too far; wishful thinking on my part, with my salt and pepper army haircut over here.  Focus, The Movie Hooligan... focus.  Next, we have James Duddridge, and... nah, another in the "Self" and "Thanks" realm.  Now I gotta look up what an MP is... oh, just a Member of Parliament.

Okay, on to the next, and it's someone named James Eskridge, and... nah, just a Production Assistant turned Actor.  More ambitious, dude!  Gotta be more ambitious than that.  On to the next, and it's... another James Eskridge!  And... oh, another "Self," more or less.  Less ambitious, dude!  You know, one of these days, someone ought to do a documentary on how many mediocre careers "The Daily Show" and its progeny have ruined.  Okay, on to the next, and it's someone named James Etheridge... nah, a mere Camera Operator.  James Muro's my personal favourite for some reason.  But now that YouTube (TM) (R) (C) has flooded the marketplace with bad video, now that we have Hulu and Paramount Plus and Disney Plus and a dozen other streaming service... we've got more streaming services than entertainment now!  Anyway, I think the point I was trying to make is that I have more respect now for all those poor bastards who have to actually operate the damn cameras.  Focus pullers, lens polishers, layers of track and what not, and the people who turn the little wheels that make the camera pan and zoom... of course, Vista-Glide has eliminated a lot of those jobs, hasn't it?  Or whatever they have now.  Dinner time!  Gotta run...
