I mean, what can you say about a guy who's led an Award-worthy life like Emerson St. John? Boy, I tell you, I've never SEEN a website so devoted to hierarchy! Okay, so he was only twelfth in the cast in that episode of "I'll Fly Away." It's like trying to look up a species on Wikipedia and just going through the various phyla and what not. But it's all small potatoes to a true Renaissance man like Emerson. He's done just about everything, and just about everyone, both in front of and behind the camera. Actor, director, cinematographer, key grip, caterer... he's even done narration! Sure, maybe he's not as prolific as Mike Thomas... sorry, Peter Thomas, and he probably doesn't sound as good as Peter Coyote, but still! Doesn't hurt to try something new once in a while, right?
So, what has this guy directed? Oh, just three episodes of "Pawn Stars." Wow. How many of them are in prison now? Guess you're lucky you got out of there in one piece, dude. I'm surprised you survived three episodes! You've got a traumatic experience that other directors can only dream of. Don't waste your gift!
