Auteur Watch - Joey Ansah

Our next auteur is a feller named Joey Ansah, and... well, regular readers of this here blog know that I'm the type of guy that, when it comes to someone named Joey Ansah, I can't help but think of people like Abena Ansah or Afua Owusu-Ansah or Akwasi Owusu-Ansah or Akwasi Owusu-Ansah or Andy Ansah or Araba Ansah or Claudius Ansah or David Ansah or Delisa Ansah or DeShawn Ansah or Ekuwa Ansah or Elvis Ansah Nyame or Emmanuel Maclord Ansah or Enest Ansah or Ernest A. But I haven't even arrived at the best part yet. I get to ask my old, oft-asked question in situations like this: what do this guy, this guy, this guy and this guy all have in common?  That's RIGHT!  Same guy.  And what do this gal and this gal have in common?  That's RIGHT!  And this one guy and this other guy?  That's RIGHT!  The same guy... and they both passed away in 2008.  Unfortunate.  My condolences to the families.  Apparently the Ghana filmmaking community can't afford film stock.  But they were ahead of their time, because it's all digital video now, right?  Okay, one last one.  What do this guy and this guy have in common?  That's RIGHT!  Same guy.  And speaking of the same guy... yup!  Still the Highlander.  Man, I wish I had that guy's secret... oh, right.  Let's take a look at this week's Auteur, Joey Ansah... oh, he'll be all right.  People in the Matt Damon business usually are.  Nice necklace!  And in addition to being an actor and a director, he also wears about seven or eight other hats... Another thing I meant to keep track of.  Some of these guys, you know... they wear, like, eighteen, twenty hats!  All the hats, really.  Joel Coen only has about eleven, but... I think that kid's going to be okay too!  I guess it's all in how you wear them.  Spielberg's only got sixteen, but....... where was I?  Oh, right.  We were talking about Joey Ansah, but what was the question?
