Auteur Watch - Barry Jenkins

Oh, s'z'nap!  THAT DUDE is next?  Whelp, unlike the average Auteur Watch profile lately, this guy's doing okay as we speak.  I mean, Moonlight was the real big deal, of course, followed closely by If Beale Street Could Talk.  Didn't do as well at the Box Office, but you can't go wrong with a dynamic title like that.  Right now he appears to be doing a TV series about the underground railroad, currently called "The Underground Railroad."  Where it can be seen has yet to be determined.  That's how you know there's too much entertainment these days, if you can only see it on Hulu or Roku or HBO on Amazon, or on your co-worker's teentsy weentsy iWatch.
