Auteur Watch - Reginald Hudlin

...man!  I thought this was going to be easy!  Welp, the difference in the résumés of Warrington Hudlin, and his younger brother Reginald, couldn't be greater.  I mean, it's almost Lawrence and Mark Kasdan levels of difference here!  I mean, it's like Shane and Terry Black!  Or Kit and Jiff Ramsey!  Or the Mitchells!... oops.  Maybe skip that last one.  Man, I'm always stepping in it.  But Reginald did what he could to flog his wares on the silver screen, up until the time of something called Serving Sara.  About that time, the small screen was achieving parity with the silver screen... or at least, getting wider.  TV finally heard the long-given advice of Pontiac: wider is better, wised up and finally took the advice.  And hey!  As long as you're getting wider, why not switch to HD and get a sharper picture: something nerds and jocks can agree upon.  And so, Reginald AKA "Reggie" dove into TV... wait!  Here's one theatrical release... I think.  It's Marshall, about Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.  Well, you know how it is.  The shortest month, February, is Black History Month.  Also, only one black judge on the highest court in the land at a time.  Whitey's kinda jumpy!
