Auteur Watch - James Brown

Awright!  Back to work.  Well, this particular James Brown is still on his way, more or less.  But he's got a good chunk of three on his résume.  First up, a behind-the-scenes of James Bond; you can't go wrong with that?  It's about Bond author Ian Fleming's adventures before he took up novel writing, and the movie's called Age of Heroes.  I guess this is as close as we get to the bikini girls.
Second, Mr. Brown's adventures in Oscar's neighborhood!  I mean, to be involved in a project like Still Alice?  It's a thing like that that lifts all boats, my friend!  Even the caterers!  And... oh, sorry, I'm being told I got the link wrong.  This should be the right link.
And third, well... like all auteurs good and great, Mr. Brown likes to take his time.  I mean, note the time between 2003's Fugue and the stuff he produced in 2011.  I mean, that's like, two B.A.s!  But, like George Clooney, some auteurs like to strike once every three years.  In fact, James Brown picked the exact same year as Mr. Clooney!  2011 was The Ides of March, 2014 was The Monuments Men, and 2017 was... well, let's all try to block that one out.  ANYWAY!  Mr. Brown thought 2017 would be a good time to try directing again.  And what does this Oscar (TM) (R) (C) - adjacent figure pick as his topic?  A nice, clean family pic called You Can Tutu and... um, guess he better just stick with producing for the time being.
